In Exeter there are only a few of visitor attractions worth a visit including; St Peter’s Cathedral, the Royal Albert Museum and Rougemont Castle. As mentioned earlier in this article there is a selection of nearby seaside towns to see the best being the old-fashioned villages of Seaton, Sidmouth and Beer.
Further away, in between Exeter and Plymouth is the hardly populated moorland of the Dartmoor National Park with the general area having several tourist attractions to visit including Buckland Abbey, Buckfast Abbey and A La Ronde along the main road, to Plymouth. Along the way you will pass the Torbay area, which includes Paignton, Brixham and Torquay and is frequently referred to as the English Riviera region.
